Trash & Record Recovery
Twenty record types across twelve modules can be recovered after deletion — items, adjustments, vendors, customers, assets, asset custodians, users, employees, positions, leave types, shifts, public holidays, projects, tasks, tickets, ticket categories, expenses and the three custom-field types. A restore returns the record with its original identifiers rather than as a copy, and a parent brings back the children deleted with it: project milestones and sprints, customer contacts and addresses, and ticket thread rows.

Each record type carries its own declared dependency checks — roughly ninety across the registry in six shapes — and a permanent delete runs the whole list first, reporting every failure by name. An item still referenced by a goods receipt, a stock lot or an invoice line can be restored but cannot be erased. An impact preview shows what erasing something would touch without needing a destructive permission, legal holds can freeze a record or a whole record type, and the eleven high and critical record types route erasure through a second approver who cannot be the requester.

Data Export & Organization Deletion
An administrator can export the whole organization as one ZIP: every table as a CSV, every stored attachment filed under its record, and a checksummed manifest. A per-user data export covers profile, privacy state, role and place assignments, registered devices and recorded activity, delivered as a signed link valid 24 hours — with handover signatures deliberately excluded and the reason stated inside the file. Deleting an organization runs an impact preview that counts real rows per table and names the five storage directories, issues a 15-minute confirmation token the request must echo back, then schedules the deletion 30 days out with reminder emails and a cancel available throughout.

Every serious system has an undo. What almost none of them have is a permanent delete that reads the record's own history first — the check-ins, the journal entries, the payroll runs, the signed tickets — and refuses when removing the row would leave a document pointing at nothing.
