Delivery Management · Built on your platform

Move work across the board — without leaving your operations platform.

AWRA Projects & Tasks is a full delivery pillar layered onto the platform you already trust — the same secure identity, approvals, audit trail and notifications that power your inventory, procurement, finance and HR. Plan with milestones, dependencies and a Gantt timeline, run agile sprints, track effort against budgets, and tie every task back to the operational record it moves.

Why delivery belongs here

A standalone tracker is an island. Yours has a coastline.

A separate project tool never knows about the purchase order, the invoice, the asset or the person behind the work. AWRA Projects & Tasks inherits multi-tenancy, identity, role-based access, approval workflows, custom fields, a full audit trail and in-app notifications on day one — and it links tasks straight to the operational records they move.

Airtight data isolation

Every project, task, comment and time entry is walled off to your organization by the same guardrails that protect your stock and invoices — tested, not bolted on.

Identity & RBAC

Reuses your existing users, roles and granular permissions. Project actions are gated (view / add / edit / delete / assign / log time) exactly like every other module.

Real automation stays in Workflow

Genuine triggers, SLAs and rule automation live in the BPM engine that already approves purchase orders — Projects integrates with it rather than forking a second automation system.

Custom statuses & fields

Give each project its own board columns and workflow; tag tasks with labels; add checklists. Power users customize without a migration; everyone else gets a safe default.

Immutable audit trail

Who reassigned a task, changed a due date, or logged time — captured automatically with user tracking on every model.

Notifications you already have

Assignment, status changes, @mentions, due-soon reminders and watcher alerts ride the same in-app notification rail as the rest of the platform.

The core rule

Work is assigned to a person — and effort isn't attendance.

Tasks are assigned to employees, not login seats — so the field technician with no password still owns work, and capacity respects their approved leave and public holidays. Logged time is effort against a task, deliberately kept separate from HR attendance (presence) so you never end up with two conflicting timesheets.

  • An assignee is an Employee record; the actor who created or updated the task is a platform user — two distinct identities.
  • Capacity awareness flags a task whose due date lands on the assignee’s approved leave or a public holiday — a warning, never a block.
  • When an employee is terminated, their open tasks surface in a reassignment queue instead of being silently orphaned.
  • Time logged on a task feeds project budgets and billable/non-billable splits — it never masquerades as clock-in/clock-out.

Lightweight core, enterprise depth

Four lanes. All live today.

The core is a clean, fast tracker — projects, tasks, subtasks, a Kanban board and “my tasks”. Then it grows into a full PM-grade product: planning and Gantt, agile sprints, time and budgets, and the flexibility layer teams expect. Every lane below is shipped, not a roadmap promise.

01 Live

Projects & Tasks

Projects with a status lifecycle, owner and department; tasks and one level of subtasks assigned to employees; priorities, due dates, a Kanban board, “my tasks”, bulk actions, comments with @mentions, attachments, and back-links to POs, invoices, customers, assets, transfers and vendors.

02 Live

Planning & Gantt

Milestones, finish-to-start task dependencies with cycle protection, a Gantt timeline with a today line and baseline variance, and an automatic critical-path highlight so you see what actually drives the finish date.

03 Live

Agile Delivery

A backlog and sprint planning board, per-sprint Kanban, story points, velocity across completed sprints, and a burndown chart — with unfinished work carried back to the backlog on sprint close.

Time, Budget & Flex

Log effort per task (billable or not), estimate vs actual, project budgets with a burn bar, and effort rollups. Plus labels, checklists, watchers, saved views, recurring tasks, project templates and configurable per-project statuses.

The moat

Delivery that is wired into the rest of the business.

A siloed tracker gives you a to-do list. AWRA gives you connections — because work touches operations, people, money and automation every day, and those links already exist in the platform.

Live

Tasks ↔ Operations

Link a task to a purchase order, invoice, customer, asset, stock transfer or vendor — and those records surface the related work back on their own pages. Available today.

Live

Assignees ↔ HR capacity

Work is assigned to employees, and a task warns when its due date falls on the assignee’s approved leave or a public holiday — reusing the HR availability engine.

Live

Offboarding → Reassignment

When an employee is terminated, their open tasks appear in a reassignment queue, closing the loop with the HR access-control lifecycle.

Live

Projects → Workflow (BPM)

Genuine automation, SLA timers and rule triggers stay in the Workflow engine; Projects integrates via events instead of duplicating an automation builder.

Live

Delivery → Analytics & BI

Throughput, at-risk and overdue work, workload per employee, logged effort and billable split feed a dedicated analytics view and the custom-reports and BI builder.

Live

Delivery → Plans & Billing

Projects is a premium pillar gated at Pro and above through the same subscription billing engine that runs the rest of your account.

Built for how teams actually plan

The planning, agile and reporting you expect — without the sprawl.

Everything a delivery team needs to plan, run and report on work is here and integrated — no third tab, no export-import dance, no second source of truth for who did what and when.

Questions

What teams ask before adopting Projects.

Is this just another Jira?

It’s the opposite of a silo. You get planning, Gantt, agile sprints, time and budgets — but every task links to the real operational records it moves (POs, invoices, assets, customers), is assigned to a real employee, and rides your existing identity, approvals and notifications.

Do assignees need login accounts?

No. Tasks are assigned to employees, not login seats. Someone with no password still owns work, and capacity respects their leave and public holidays.

How is time tracking different from HR attendance?

Task time is effort — how long work took, billable or not, feeding project budgets. HR attendance is presence — clock-in/out. They’re deliberately separate systems so you never keep two conflicting timesheets.

Where does automation live?

Genuine automation, SLA timers and rule triggers stay in the Workflow (BPM) engine. Projects integrates with it via events rather than building a second, competing automation system.

Is our delivery data isolated and secure?

Yes. Projects uses the same data isolation, role-based permissions, encrypted document vault for attachments, and audit trail as every other module — enforced by the platform.

What plan do I need?

Projects & Tasks is a premium pillar available on Pro and above, billed through the same subscription engine as the rest of your account.
