July 2026

New module

The complete Projects & Tasks module is live — a delivery-management pillar wired into the operations, people and money you already run in AWRA.

  • Projects & tasks: projects with a status lifecycle, tasks and subtasks assigned to real employees, a Kanban board, “my tasks”, bulk actions, comments with @mentions, attachments, and back-links to purchase orders, invoices, customers, assets, stock transfers and vendors.
  • Planning & Gantt: milestones, finish-to-start dependencies with cycle protection, a Gantt timeline with a today line and baseline variance, and an automatic critical-path highlight.
  • Agile delivery: a backlog and sprint planning board, per-sprint Kanban, story points, velocity, and a burndown chart — with unfinished work carried back to the backlog on close.
  • Time, budget & flexibility: log effort (billable or not) against budgets with a burn bar, plus labels, checklists, watchers, saved views, recurring tasks, project templates and configurable per-project statuses.
  • Delivery Pulse: an AI narrative on throughput, at-risk work and workload, alongside a dedicated delivery-analytics view.

July 2026

New module

The complete Human Resources module is live — the people side of operations, connected to the rest of AWRA.

  • Employee Management: records that are separate from logins, departments & positions, org chart, contracts, documents with expiry reminders, and bulk import.
  • Leave: leave types with accrual & carryover, balances that skip weekends and public holidays, single- and multi-level approval, and a team calendar.
  • Attendance & Time: manual register, self-service clock-in/out, and CSV/biometric import; shifts & weekly rosters, overtime, corrections, and timesheet approval & lock — secured by device, GPS, and office-QR verification.
  • Payroll: multi-country statutory rules as versioned configuration, frozen payslips, the Kenya P9A tax certificate, and posting straight into the cross-module Payments Register.
  • Employee self-service: request leave, clock in/out, and view payslips — signed in or through a private, no-login PIN link for staff without accounts.

Our Release Methodology

AWRA OpsHub follows a strict semantic versioning protocol to ensure stability across our thousands of daily active users. We deploy silent, non-breaking updates weekly, and major feature releases at the end of every quarter. This predictable cadence allows your IT teams to plan integrations without fear of sudden disruption.

Before any major feature reaches production, it undergoes rigorous stress-testing through our Beta Testing Program. A select group of enterprise clients deploy the new code in sandboxed environments, stress-testing workflows from API load balancing to end-user UI interaction. Only when the feature passes our strict zero-regression threshold does it enter the general release pipeline.

Our roadmap is not dictated from the top down; it is crowd-sourced from the very people using the platform. Through our community feedback loop, users submit and vote on feature requests. If a request aligns with our vision of high-velocity, reliable operations, it gets fast-tracked onto the roadmap below.

How we decide what ships

Roadmap priorities are based on operational impact, frequency of customer demand, and risk reduction potential across inventory, procurement, sales, and accounting workflows.

Each release stream includes feature delivery, quality hardening, and instrumentation improvements. This ensures that product capability growth is matched with reliability and observability improvements.

We publish concise release summaries for speed, while this page and the changelog archive provide expanded context for teams that need stronger change management documentation.
