Each record type carries its own declared dependency checks — roughly ninety across the registry in six shapes — and a permanent delete runs the whole list first, reporting every failure by name. An item still referenced by a goods receipt, a stock lot or an invoice line can be restored but cannot be erased. An impact preview shows what erasing something would touch without needing a destructive permission, legal holds can freeze a record or a whole record type, and the eleven high and critical record types route erasure through a second approver who cannot be the requester.
