What the Mailchimp connector does

Sync customers and vendors into a Mailchimp audience as contacts, kept fresh on the email hash so re-syncing never duplicates. Choose subscribed or transactional status to respect consent.

Contacts are keyed on the email hash, so the same customer is updated in place no matter how often you sync — no duplicate members quietly inflating your list. Choose Subscribed only where you hold marketing consent, or Transactional to stay compliant while still reaching people.
