Sandbox Workspace and Restore Drills

Sandbox & Restore Drills

Answer Summary

A sandbox is a separate workspace holding a copy of your roles, permissions, approval rules, procurement defaults and AI settings, with none of your records, people or integrations; administrators step in from their own session and it sends no email. Separately, AWRA runs restore drills on its own backups: the newest database backup is restored into a scratch database, timed, checked against the live tables, and the recovery time and backup age are recorded for the system owner.
