Second-person approval on sensitive changes

Governance & Roles

Answer Summary

Yes, when your organization switches it on under Settings › Change Reviews; every switch starts off. Loosening the security policy waits for a second person, and that includes step-up verification and the anomaly rules: an action taken off the step-up list, a longer step-up window, an anomaly threshold raised or a rule switched off. API keys, tax settings, inventory defaults, approval rules and deleting the organization can be held the same way. The requester can never approve their own change, a rejection needs a comment, and a request nobody decides expires after 72 hours. Separately, AWRA’s own owner-console actions on a workspace — signing in as one of its users, a permission outside its plan, a workspace deletion — can be held for a second AWRA system owner; that is a deployment setting, off unless switched on, so ask us how yours is set.
