M-Pesa and card via IntaSend

Sales Payments

Answer Summary

Yes — a business can collect through its own IntaSend account. Staff send an M-Pesa prompt to the customer’s phone, or open IntaSend’s payment page where the customer chooses M-Pesa or card, from an invoice, a POS sale or the customer portal. Money settles to the business’s IntaSend wallet. Each payment is checked with IntaSend before it is recorded, then posts to the invoice or sale as M-Pesa or card. IntaSend’s fee is booked as a payment processing expense, invoice emails can carry a Pay now link, IntaSend payments can be refunded when refunds are switched on, and M-Pesa payouts to suppliers can go out through the same wallet.
