Billing

Invoices and bills in another currency

Currency & Billing

Answer Summary

An invoice or supplier bill in another currency keeps that currency on the document and posts to the ledger in your base currency at the exchange rate recorded on it. Record the rate in the Exchange rate needed panel; until then nothing posts and the document says it is waiting. A payment at a different rate books the difference to Exchange Gains and Losses as a realised gain or loss.
