Counting a subset of inventory on a rolling schedule instead of all at once.

Cycle counting verifies stock accuracy by counting small portions of inventory frequently, rather than shutting down for a full physical count. High-value or fast-moving items are counted more often.

It keeps records accurate continuously and surfaces discrepancies early, without the disruption of an annual wall-to-wall count.
