Stock Adjustment

A correction to recorded stock to match the physical count.

A stock adjustment reconciles system quantities with what is physically present, accounting for damage, shrinkage, miscounts or found stock. Each adjustment should carry a reason code for auditability.

Controlled, reason-coded adjustments keep inventory trustworthy and reveal patterns worth investigating.
