An inventory aging report buckets stock by days held — 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ — showing where capital has stopped moving. It is the AR aging report applied to the warehouse.

Aging catches slow-moving stock before turnover ratios do, because it looks at individual units rather than averages. It is the practical starting point for finding dead stock.
