Anomaly Detection

Automatically flagging transactions or patterns that deviate from the norm.

Anomaly detection learns what normal looks like — usual order sizes, prices, timings, approvers — and raises an exception when something falls outside it, rather than relying on fixed rules alone.

Its value in operations is catching what no rule was written for: a price ten times the usual, a receipt logged at 3am, a supplier suddenly invoicing weekly instead of monthly.
