Delivery Note

A document accompanying goods that the customer signs on receipt.

A delivery note lists what is being delivered against a specific order and is signed by the customer to acknowledge receipt. The signed copy is your evidence that goods arrived.

It is the document disputes hinge on. A note signed without checking, or returned without any record of shortages, leaves you arguing about quantities with no support.
