Fill Rate
The share of demand met from stock on hand without delay.
Fill rate measures how often you can satisfy an order immediately and completely. It can be counted by line, by order or by unit, and each version tells a slightly different story about customer experience.
Order fill rate is the harshest measure because a single missing line fails the whole order. It is the metric that connects inventory investment to service quality.
Fill rate = Units shipped on time ÷ Units ordered
Line fill and order fill variants use lines and complete orders instead of units.
