E-Procurement

Running the purchasing process electronically end to end.

E-procurement replaces paper and email with a system of record for requisitions, approvals, orders, receipts and invoices. Suppliers interact through a portal rather than a mailbox.

The benefit is less about speed than about evidence: every request, approval and change is captured with a timestamp and an owner, which is what makes spend controllable and auditable.
