Pick Face

The accessible front position where an item is picked from.

The pick face is the small, reachable quantity of a SKU presented for picking, replenished from bulk or reserve storage behind or above it. Pickers only ever visit the face.

Sizing it matters: too small and replenishment runs constantly, too large and it wastes prime space near dispatch. The face is where slotting decisions actually take effect.
