A goods issue records stock leaving your control — dispatched to a customer, transferred to another site, consumed in production or written off. It is the outbound counterpart of the goods received note.

Issuing at the moment of physical movement, rather than at invoicing, is what keeps stock records aligned with reality. Delayed issues are a common cause of phantom availability.
