Affordable Housing Levynoun

A Kenyan payroll levy on gross pay, matched by the employer.

The affordable housing levy is deducted as a percentage of an employee’s gross monthly pay, with an equal employer contribution, and remitted alongside other statutory deductions.

Being assessed on gross pay rather than a banded or capped figure, it applies from the first shilling and needs no threshold logic — but it does need to appear as its own payslip line.
