Off-Cycle Runs & Final Settlement

Staff loans, bonus runs and final pay

Staff Loans, Off-Cycle Pay & Final Settlement

Staff loans take a principal, optional flat interest and an instalment plan; each regular payroll run deducts the instalment (never more than the balance or the net pay left) and the payout, interest and repayments post to the ledger. Off-cycle runs pay bonuses, arrears, commission and corrections beside the regular run, taxed on the month as a whole. A final settlement proposes a leaver’s pro-rated salary, leave encashment and notice pay, adds gratuity or severance, and recovers open loans and advances. HR decides what is taxable; AWRA prepares the statutory files and you submit them.

A Budget That Warns and a Status That Refuses

This module will refuse to move a project from planning straight to completed. It will not refuse to spend twice its budget. One of those is enforced by a state machine and the other is a percentage on a screen.

AWRA Blog

A Credit That Reads as Cash

Apply a credit note and the invoice's amount-paid figure goes up by the credited amount. The invoice status says credited rather than paid, so the document is honest. The column is not — and anything measuring collections from it reads a credit as money received.

AWRA Blog

A Label Is Not a Lock

Our system records the result of an incoming quality check properly — a status on the consignment, a screen to set it, a summary and an analytics view built on it. What it does not do is stop you selling the goods that failed. Recording and enforcing live on two different records, and nothing connects them.

Pick monthly or annual billing — annual gives you one month free. Compare the 30-day Free trial with Basic, Pro and Premium at their current prices in US dollars or Kenyan shillings, or request a custom Enterprise quote. Each plan lists its users, employee records, file storage and usage limits.

Asset Custodians & Custody Chain

Assigning assets to people without logins

A custodian is its own record rather than a user account, so drivers, site labourers, contractors, departments, vendors and visitors can hold assets with no login, no seat and no permissions. Six custodian types and four statuses including exited, so somebody who leaves stops receiving custody while every movement they were part of stays readable. Nine movement actions each carry their own permission, and every handover records the custodian, department, warehouse, location and condition at both ends, with an expected return date, optional photographs, optional GPS and a signature.

Asset Tracking

Work-order completion proof

Completing an asset maintenance work order, on the web or in the AWRA mobile app, can carry up to six photos of the finished job and the signature and printed name of whoever accepted the work. Both are optional and shown on the work order as proof of work, served only to people who can view maintenance. A photo or signature that cannot be stored never blocks the completion, and in the app a completion made with no signal is queued and sent on reconnect.

Attendance & Time

Attendance & time tracking

AWRA captures attendance three ways — a manual daily register, employee self-service clock-in/out, or CSV/biometric import — in one record. It adds shifts and weekly rosters, automatic late detection, overtime, correction requests, and timesheet approval and lock per pay period. Clock-in can be secured with device passkeys, GPS geofencing, and an office QR code.

Agile Delivery

Projects & Tasks runs agile delivery on the same tasks you track: a backlog and sprint-planning board, a per-sprint Kanban, story points, velocity across completed sprints, and a burndown computed from real completion times. Completing a sprint carries unfinished work back to the backlog automatically.

AWRA Blog

A Budget That Matches on a Word

AWRA Blog

A Discount Nobody Had to Authorise

Until October 2026 a discount at this till was four columns — a record of what happened, not a control over whether it should have. It now carries a user, a workspace limit and an approver by PIN. The reason is still typed, and recording versus governing is still the question to ask of any till.
