HR Insights

A people pulse for your organization — headcount, joiners and leavers, turnover, pending leave, leave liability, attendance and lateness, and the latest payroll cost — on one page.

HR Insights sits under Human Resources → HR Insights. It reads your own employee, leave, attendance and payroll records and presents the figures a manager is usually asked for at short notice. It is a decision-support view: check the source record before you act on any number.

What It Shows

FigureHow to read it
HeadcountEmployees currently in active employment.
New hiresPeople whose hire date falls in the last 30 days.
Terminations & turnoverEmployments ended in the last 30 days, and that count as a percentage of headcount.
Pending leaveLeave requests still waiting for a decision — a queue, not a statistic.
Leave liabilityUntaken leave balance across employees for the current leave year: opening, plus accrued, plus adjustments, less taken.
Attendance rate & latenessAttendance against expectation for the period, and late arrivals.
Payroll costNet pay for the most recent run, with the period it covers.

Read The Denominators Before You Quote These

Two of these figures are routinely misread. Turnover here is leavers in the last 30 days over current headcount — useful as a trend, not comparable to an annualised industry figure. Leave liability is days of untaken balance, and only becomes a money figure when you value it against pay. Say which you mean when you put either in a board pack.

Alerts, Anomalies And The Approvals Queue

The page also surfaces smart alerts and the anomaly radar, plus what is waiting in the approvals queue — so "what needs me today" and "how are we doing" are answered in one place.

Freshness

Figures are computed periodically rather than on every page load, and the page states when it was last refreshed. If a number looks a step behind a change you just made, that is why — refresh rather than doubting the underlying record. A workspace with little HR data yet will show a starter view instead of a false zero.
