Employee Self-Service
Let staff handle their own HR tasks — request leave, clock in and out, and view payslips — either signed in to the app or through a private, PIN-protected link that needs no account.
Self-service comes in two forms, and both resolve to the same employee record, so a request or clock-in made either way flows into HR's normal queues.
For Employees With A Login
Staff who have an account see a self-service area for their own tasks:
See balances, request time off, and cancel your own requests.
Clock in and out for today, see recent days, and file correction requests.
View and download your payslips as PDF — and, in Kenya, your annual P9A tax certificate.
These pages always resolve your own record from your login, so there is no employee picker and no way to see anyone else's data.
For Employees Without A Login
Many staff never need an account. For them, HR can enable a private self-service link tied to the employee, protected by a short PIN. The employee opens the link (or scans a QR code), enters the PIN, and can then request leave, clock in and out, and view payslips — all with no login. The same link and PIN unlock all three; HR can share it by copy, QR, email, WhatsApp, or SMS, and can regenerate it (which retires the old one) or disable it at any time.
Kept Safe
- The link is tied to one employee and unlocks a short, timed session after the PIN is entered.
- Clock-in can require device, location (GPS), and office-QR verification where you enable it.
- Only finalised payslips are shown; the PIN can be changed by the employee and reset by HR.
