Connectors Directory

Connectors are AWRA OpsHub's single integration layer — one place to see every app AWRA can plug into, grouped by what it does, with a live status on each card. This guide explains what the directory is, how to read connector statuses, and how to turn a live connector on.

Open Settings → Connectors inside your workspace to browse the directory, or view the public Connectors page for the full catalogue. Each connector is a card showing its category, a short summary, and whether it is Live, Planned, or Coming soon. Live connectors open their own setup screen; planned and coming-soon connectors are on the roadmap and are not yet configurable.

Who Uses This Page

  • Organization admins deciding which external tools to connect.
  • Finance and technical contacts wiring up accounting or SSO.
  • Anyone evaluating whether AWRA connects to a tool they already use.

Connector Categories

Connectors are organised into categories so you can find the right integration by what you need it to do:

  • Communication & Notifications — Push alerts, approvals and operational events to where your team already works.
  • Accounting & Finance — Sync vendors, items, invoices and purchase orders with your books.
  • Tax & Compliance — Meet e-invoicing and tax authority obligations automatically.
  • Storage & Documents — Archive invoices, POs and vendor documents to external file storage.
  • CRM & Sales — Keep customers and deals in sync with your sales stack.
  • Contracts & E-Signature — Send POs, vendor contracts and prequalification forms for legally binding signatures.
  • Identity & SSO — Single sign-on and enterprise identity for secure tenant onboarding.
  • Productivity & Automation — Calendars, spreadsheets and no-code automation across thousands of apps.
  • Developer & Data — Receive events from external systems and wire up custom pipelines.

What's Available Today

The directory is filling in as each integration is built. Live connectors can be configured now; everything else is catalogued so you can see what's coming.

  • KRA eTIMS / iTax — Planned. Auto-submit invoices and receipts to Kenya's eTIMS for compliant e-invoicing.
  • Slack — Live. Send notifications, approval alerts and RFQ/PO events to Slack channels.
  • Microsoft Teams — Live. Post the same operational alerts and approvals into Teams channels.
  • WhatsApp — Live. Order confirmations, vendor comms and payment reminders via the WhatsApp Cloud API.
  • Telegram — Live. Lightweight bot notifications to Telegram groups and channels.

  • Dropbox — Planned. Back up generated documents and exports to Dropbox.

  • AWS S3 / Compatible — Coming soon. Use S3 (or any S3-compatible bucket) as a document vault backing store.
  • Salesforce — Planned. Sync customers and deals with Salesforce for enterprise tenants.
  • PandaDoc — Coming soon. Send POs, vendor contracts and prequalification forms for e-signature. Has a free eSign plan.
  • Google SSO — Live. Let users sign in with their Google Workspace accounts (already available on this platform).
  • Microsoft Entra ID — Coming soon. Azure AD single sign-on for Microsoft 365 organisations.
  • Google Workspace — Coming soon. Calendar for delivery/approval deadlines and Gmail send.
  • Microsoft 365 — Coming soon. Outlook mail and calendar for Microsoft 365 tenants.
  • Zapier — Live. One connector unlocks thousands of apps via Zapier automations.
  • Make — Live. Visual, multi-step automations across your app ecosystem.
  • Google Sheets — Coming soon. Live export of reports and registers to a spreadsheet.
  • Inbound Webhooks — Live. Receive events from external systems and turn them into notifications.

Turning On a Live Connector

  1. Go to Settings → Connectors and find the connector you want.
  2. If it is marked Live, open its card to reach the setup screen (for example, QuickBooks Online opens the Integrations screen to start the secure OAuth connection).
  3. Authorise access with the provider, then confirm the connection shows as connected.
  4. Run an initial sync or send a test event to confirm data flows as expected.

Permissions Note

The Connectors directory requires the integration manager permission. If you cannot see Connectors under Settings, ask your organization admin to grant the integration manager role for your account rather than requesting broad access.

How Connections Stay Secure

  • Connections use provider OAuth where available — AWRA never stores your provider password.
  • Credentials and tokens are stored encrypted, scoped to your tenant.
  • Outbound events use signed webhooks with automatic retries and delivery monitoring.
  • You can disconnect a live connector at any time to revoke access.

Common Mistakes

  • Expecting a Planned or Coming soon connector to be configurable — only Live connectors have a setup screen.
  • Authorising with the wrong provider account (use the account that owns the data you want to sync).
  • Skipping the initial test sync, so mapping issues surface later instead of at setup.
