Human Resources Overview
The HR module manages the people side of your operations — employee records, leave, attendance and time, and payroll — from the same workspace you already use for inventory, procurement, and sales.
Human Resources is one connected pillar with four areas that build on each other: Employees (the record of every person), Leave (time off and balances), Attendance & Time (who worked when), and Payroll (turning that into pay). You reach it from Human Resources in the left navigation, which opens the HR hub with at-a-glance figures — pending leave to review, today's attendance, and the latest payroll run — plus quick actions for the most common tasks. What you see depends on your permissions.
Employees Are Not User Accounts
The most important idea in HR: an employee record is separate from a login. Most staff never need to sign in to the app. You can keep full records — and even run leave, attendance, and payroll — for people who have no account at all. When someone genuinely needs access, you can provision a login from their profile; ending their employment can disable that login without ever deleting the employment history.
The Four Areas

Employees Can Serve Themselves
Staff can request leave, clock in and out, and view payslips on their own — either signed in, or through a private, PIN-protected link they open on any phone with no account. See Employee Self-Service.
A Sensible Order To Set Up
- Employees first. Add or import your people, set departments, positions, and managers.
- Leave next. Define leave types and let staff request time off.
- Attendance. Choose how you capture time — manual register, self-service clock-in, or device import — and set shifts.
- Payroll last. It touches money and statutory rules, so it comes once employee and time data is clean.
