Stock Adjustments: Handling Discrepancies
Sometimes inventory shifts outside of standard check-ins and check-outs. The Adjustments module ensures that your system of record matches the physical reality of the shelf.
Adjustment Scenarios
- Inventory Count Discrepancy: When a manual count finds more or less stock than the system expects.
- In-Storage Damage: Marking items as unusable due to warehouse accidents.
- Expungement: Removing items that have reached their technical or safety end-of-life.
Requirement: All adjustments require a mandatory "Notes" field. Explain why the adjustment is happening to ensure clear end-of-month audits.
